By now it’s no secret that we love catching up with our AYBL Athletes and Elena Stavinoha is without a doubt a treasured member of our female community.
Aside from being an AYBL Athlete, Elena spends a lot of her time working out and sharing her fitness journey with her 1.7 million TikTok followers.
We caught up with the TikTok sensation to shine a light on what life as a fitness influencer is like, including how she stays motivated and what her typical workout week looks like. It’s safe to say, if you ever needed some words of encouragement to achieve something great, you’re definitely in the right place.

HEY, THANKS SO MUCH FOR CATCHING UP WITH US! WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY IN THE LIFE OF ELENA LOOK LIKE?
At this moment in time, I don’t have a strict routine, as I've been travelling a lot, but usually I’ll wake up around 8am and eat a quick breakfast. I’ll then do some editing for the day and head to the gym. I’m usually there for a couple of hours, so I'll bring a snack with me and eat again when I’m home, which is when I tend to do some more editing.
If I’m not busy at the gym, I sometimes go for brunch or dinner with friends.
WHAT DOES YOUR TYPICAL WEEKLY WORKOUT ROUTINE LOOK LIKE?
I usually alternate between upper and lower body sessions throughout the week. I also do isolation exercises as well to enhance my workouts.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE WORKOUT?
I would have to say that my favourite workout is probably back.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY DOING OUTSIDE OF FITNESS?
Although I spend a lot of my time working out and at the gym, there’s plenty of other things I enjoy doing too, like going for brunch or dinner with my friends.
I also really love fashion and anything lifestyle, like travelling.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO SHARE YOUR FITNESS JOURNEY ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Fitness is a really big part of my life and something I love doing. But the reason why I decided to share my fitness journey on social media is simply to inspire others and encourage my followers to achieve their goals.
HOW DO YOU KEEP MOTIVATED TO WORK OUT?
Discipline is the key to maintaining motivation.

WHAT WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT CAN YOU GIVE TO OUR AYBL COMMUNITY TO HELP THEM ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS?
You have to go! If you want results, you must stay consistent. In the end it all comes down to discipline. On those days when you don’t feel like going, sometimes you have to give yourself that little push and just go!
DO YOU HAVE ANY WORDS OF ADVICE FOR THOSE WHO MAY BE A BIT ANXIOUS ABOUT STARTING THE GYM?
You’ve just got to go! Put on something cute, do your hair and makeup if you have to, listen to your favourite music and just go! Surrounding yourself with things that you enjoy and are familiar to you tends to help make that anxiety go away.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED ABOUT IN REGARDS TO BEING AN AYBL ATHLETE?
I’m super excited to build a relationship with the brand and all the other athletes.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE AYBL COLLECTION AND WHY?
Great question! I would say that Flow is my fave, as it fits my body really well and it’s super easy to move about in.
ARE YOU A MIX N’ MATCH TYPE OF GIRL OR DO YOU PREFER TO WEAR MATCHING SETS?
I love both, I don’t think I can pick!
CARDIO OR WEIGHTS?
WHAT’S YOUR MOST MEMORABLE GYM MOMENT SO FAR?
My most memorable gym moment would be a gym vlog I did with my best friends in clothes that we’d thrifted for each other.
